Watch the interview. Hearn says he's been talking to them for weeks and that he had a bunch of questions about the 50 million offer and they answered them.

Finkel didn't want to meet in person without knowing if Joshua was going to keep his word about the 50 million. There's nothing to discuss face to face until the big deal point is agreed to. Anything else can be done over email. You go face to face when you're close to a deal and you want to hammer out the smaller details.

Only one tag line has a ring to it.

      WILDER/FURY: UNFINISHED BUSINESS

      OR

      WILDER/JOSHUA: BUSINESS

That is the cover story created in the aftermath to help Joshua save face, but it's not true. Because the only dealbreaker would have been Sky, and Finkel had no problem with Sky as long as they paid market value for the UK rights.

So it's simple, either Sky made a deal and the fight happened, or Sky didn't make a deal and then Joshua can turn it down. But what Joshua did was turn it down for other reasons, and then later on tried to blame it on Sky. Which is nonsense.

“Let them train to be a fighter and fight (Deontay) Wilder," Joshua told AP. "It's easy talking about it. It's another thing doing."

            Ah yes.

A mythical cover story you've just decided.

He's talking about how hard it is to get Deyonce in the ring. Not easy because he has never wanted to fight.

Your very much missing the point?

Joshua has made clear he wants wilder. Wilder has now openly said he wants to avoid Joshua, at least for the time being.

He wasn't talking about the $50 million offer there, he was talking, in general, about the possibility of staging the fight in the US.

Kugan, about the $50 million: "Did you see the proof of funds?"

Hearn: "No, I didn't request it"

He then goes on to explain why the $50 million offer was too ridiculous for him to waste his time talking to Haymon about it.

Yeah, he’s rematching Fury. It’s whats expected. Guess he’s not as much of an “A Side” as everyone was screaming a few months ago. Wilder/Fury is the fight that the boxing world is hungry for right now.
