no way because joshy turned down his biggest guaranteed payday of his career. $50million plus upside and a concrete automatic rematch.Comment

Hearn is using this time to his advantage by claiming to the media that Wilder doesn't want to fight AJ so Hearn is offering flat fees. When someone offers flat fees that means they simply don't want to fight you. AJ past opponents got percentages but Wilder only flat fee? Lol it's not suprising Wilder and Fury are just shutting AJ out till they come to their senses. or grow a pair. or able to piss clean

I disagree. Again,I understand what you're saying but it's only true to a certain extent.
Let's cut the *****.
It takes an iron will but it also takes a certain level of pride and all fighters have an ego. Hell, even the average Joe has an ego. So if the whole world(outside the uk)is saying you are afraid of another man/fighter and you know damn well you're not, at some point his pride and ego should take over; tell Eddie screw the plan GET ME WILDER NOW.
The man is afraid of Wilder. I respect Joshua's skills in the ring. But he has to realize he's really the one in control of his own career and legacy. At this point he's established, has a name and a fan base. Tell Eddie to shut the f#$k up and make the Wilder fight.
Wilder is a risky fight and I believe he will knock Aj out whenever they do meet. But if he faces Wilder(especially sooner than we anticipate) then I'll have an improved level of respect for him, and more importantly- he won't go down as just a "bodybuilding coward from the UK."
Once Wilder gets done knocking Fury out in the rematch hopefully we can see this fight next.
A fighter at this level that has had soo many amateur and pro fights and 1000s of sparring rounds is not afraid of another guy of a similar stature.
Joshua wants the fight, Hearn screwed the first round negotiations up and clearly created some tension between them for the first time. But like I said, sometimes the managers get it wrong and sometimes right.
And trust me, when they get in there they fight for pride but unless there is a contract fighters don’t care about pride, it’s not jail yard order, it’s a business.
All the insults and bravado and BS is just marketing spin and nothing more. Think about it, how many fighters are beefing after fights? Virtually none, they build the fight, have the fight, collect the cheque and go home. It’s their ‘day job’ and it’s really hard to understand unless you are or have been around professional athletes but emotionally they are not that invested until they are in the ring.Comment

wtf, hearn better make this fight asap!! i know joshua makes like 30 mil fighting b level fighters like povetkin but he really should step up, if only for all the belts, and fight either fury or wilder. tho tbh i wouldnt mind a fury vs wilder rematch, the first fight was electricComment

I think even if they were not keen they have no choice but to make the fight. I think if Wilder openly started to negotiate the fight and then negotiations broke down AJ would be crucified unless details of the deal was displayed and Wilder was offered at least 36% and a rematch.
Wilder is in a good position in terms of who he can fight but he has to entertain the AJ fight especially stylistically he has more chance of winning , he will be a global king and he will receive more money. It’s a no brainier but his fans are more concerned with getting one over Eddie which is strange. Surely Beating his golden goose gives them more bragging rights?Comment
