I'd be curious to actually know the conditions of his so called contract with DAZN.

DAZN are just trying to hype everything with their advertising, I doubt any of it is as per advertised.

Will be watching closely. If the rumors of DAZN not selling well are true then no way DAZN execs can allow ODH to choose Canelo's next opponent.
The thing with DAZN is I don't think Boxing is going to be their "anchor" more so than if and when the NFL / NBA come into play with their service. They're about close on their deal with MLB which will be big for them, but never did I think Boxing was going to be their LEADING sport for the app. We gotta give it some time just like we did with the PBC who had the entire industry skeptical. Three years later they strike a huge deal with FOX. In a couple of years if DAZN hasn't secured the other major sports in the US THEN I'd say they're probably *****ed.

Yes, they definitely get time to develop.

I can't see NBA or NFL going to DAZN and off of regular TV. MLB would help but that is becoming a niche sport in the US that doesn't seem to appeal much to the younger generation. Would that also mess up their MLB Network situation?

I would think they'd invest in e sports and x games style sports that the "app" generation is heavily involved with.

Canelo is Golovkin's second best win, right after Jacobs.

Becuase lemieux is damaged goods already. GGG stopped him. He's fighting ggg's leftovers. If you don't understand that, then boxing may not be for you.

I think it is given the context.

Canelo just had his "easy fight" after the tough win. Cinco de Mayo is a weekend we as fans look forward to for big fights. Jacobs and GGG are both available and either would be the kind of fight we as boxing fans expect on that weekend. Lemeuix already lost to GGG and lost to Saunders (after he lost to GGG and the fight wasn't close), who is also a top 4 MW along with them and Charlo.

There are 3 opponents (4 if Saunders wasn't suspended) boxing fans want to see Canelo face more than Lemueix at MW. That's why the fight isn't considered a good one.
