Punches coming at him makes Broner freeze and Manny throws them in bunches. Expect lots of head shaking from Broner.

Manny will throw all he wants. He will get clipped for his recklessness.

Broner has power, speed, stamina, good chin, so hopefully he has more vs Pac because he will need it. I'll go out on a limb and say he gets it done vs Pac. Because of the Matthysse fight everyone seems to think the old Pac is back. He's not.....unless there is no random PED testing.

look who he beat to win those titles. That should tell you right there.

He hasnt tried to "fight like Floyd in years. and to be quite honest he never has fought even remotely close to Floyds style, the only thing he ever tried to adopt was the shoulder roll and after the Maidana thrashing I havent seen him try to use it, he never used it effectively anyways.

If theres no PED testing then its fair to assume they both could be on something if either of them looks good. As far as I know, there is always vada testing for U.S. title fights.

I suppose the fight is still a while out though.

My uncles told me, if he’d shut up, and let his hands go... he’d be real good.

Maidana lacked skills, but he threw heavy hands. You work with what you got.

The only success I can see Broner having in this fight is him maybe clipping Manny once or twice. Manny has been buzzed with a good shot in a couple of his recent fights (Marquez 4 obv., Bradley 2 & 3)

I can also see him trying to out muscle Manny by holding, pushing, headlocks etc. but if he doesnt mix in some punches and elbows like Horn did, it wont score him any points.

All in all I think we'll see Manny vs. Clottey 2, except Manny wont be able to throw 1200 punches a this age

Has anyone seen a vast difference with Broner since Kevin Cunningham came in. I’ve seen the same Broner. He can best be described as a c@cky, reluctant warrior. Like a lot of guys here that really know boxing, Broner isn’t busy enough in the fights against upper level completion or guys that possess enough power to potentially hurt him. He doesn’t let his hands go enough and he waits much later in fights to take the necessary chances to win. But he has shown, when he is confident enough to let his hands go, he can hurt you. Maidana, Porter. Here is another interesting note. Broners last stoppage was at Super Lightweight. And over the past 5 years, since 2013, he has only had 3 stoppages in 12 fights, which is 25%. His record has been 8-3-1 during the last 5 years. But the other thing is, Broner has never been stopped. So I have Manny by decision in this one.

Once Pacquiao connects, Broner will have flashbacks of how Maidana sodomized him. He'll go into survival mode and hides in his shell like Clottey.

I have Pac winning this one......

Pac dominated a prime Vargas who AB struggled to get a questionable draw with on short notice training and coming in below 147 (Vargas). I just don't see AB winning this fight based of his last few performances. Pac would have to completely fall off and age overnight for AB to just have a shot. Pac by unanimous decision 10-2. Pac should then go on to fight Floyd for big money then maybe Porter to end a storied career because I believe Pac would beat Porter to end it all with the WBC title.
