  • Comments Thread For: Trainer Impressed With Broner, Confident Pacquiao Will Fall

Kevin Cunningham, trainer for four division world champion Adrien Broner, is confident that his boxer will send Manny Pacquiao into retirement when they meet in Las Vegas on January 19. It was officially confirmed last month that the MGM Grand will be the venue when Pacquiao puts his WBA "regular" welterweight title on the line.

Every training camp the trainer has been impressed with Broner so I put my money down on him and watch him get off 10 punches in a round and get my fingers burnt . This time I’m riding with the Filipino

Just yesterday I saw pics of Broners camp on here and he still had a beer gut.
I hope his strength and conditioning guy knows what he's doing.
I suppose the fight is still a while out though.

I've always thought Broner has it in him, just needs a good trainer to bring it out. You don't win belts in 3 or 4 different weight classes being average. If he lets his hands go, and forgets about trying to look like Floyd, he can be a force. Whether we see it for not is the question.

Broner has power, speed, stamina, good chin, so hopefully he has more vs Pac because he will need it. I'll go out on a limb and say he gets it done vs Pac. Because of the Matthysse fight everyone seems to think the old Pac is back. He's not.....unless there is no random PED testing.

Broner's BEST win at 147 was Paulie.

How people can say he is any type of real contender at 147 is beyond my comprehension.

I agree with you! I think Cunningham is the man to bring it out of Broner! I'm gonna ride with AB on this one, but I won't bet on him ever again!
