He won the fight , a close but. The right man won 115-113
It wasn't the reach it was timing and Golovkin is good at disguising his jab. Golovkin has a 70 inch reach and Canelo has a 70.5 inch reach according to box rec. Golovkin has one of the best jabs in boxing. He's out jabbed fighters with longer arms than him. I had it close but with Golovkin winning. I'd love to see another fight these two guys are evenly matched. However Canelo would have to be favored because Golovkin is getting older and slowing up.

Yeah I know they are hard to find but that's my impression of the fight and I'm not going to just go along for the sake of not getting static.

Those stats about the reach are incorrect.

GGG has long arms, Canelo reach is short, he has shorts arms

That was the difference Canelo has better reflexes and better defense.

        F.cuk

The same Floyd has more reach than Nelo

          I'm glad with his job

He destroyed the face of GGG, Landed better punches

          Was better in defense

          Took his titles

And he was clean of his face, he does not took much damage and 3 months later he fought against

          GGG fans still crying

          But look.

GGG vs Canelo III it's a fact and Canelo would kill his ass
Golovkin's face was marked up after the Rosado fight and after the Jacobs fight. Not as badly but he has had facial swelling in the past. He is 36 has had 350 amateur bouts and 40 pro bouts. That photo comparing their two faces is not realistic. . After I retired I bought a camera and did a little bit of photography. The reds are over saturated and the sharpening is enhanced. Not saying that Golovkin wasn't swollen he clearly was but that photo isn't accurate IMO. Facial swelling isn't a scoring criteria.

How do you know Canelo has short arms?? Do you have a link to some other stats?? Box rec is pretty careful on what they post although a mistake is possible.

                You said it all

                Not as badly

With Canelo he took a lot of facil damage
Is not the central point of the argument but that kind of face indicates who landed the best shots

Boxrec has a lot of mistakes in the reach and height of the fighters

Man, canelo has. Shorts arms. Is totally evident

                    But I respect your opinion

Golovkin, the B side, rejected catchweights against A sides Canelo and Cotto before demanding a catchweight with Andre Ward.

The age thing was his own problem and HIS OWN fault. He chose to move to US at 32 years of age and chose to take soft touches instead of harder fights over a few pounds (south or north).
