To me Ggg has to be the winner because of if he isn't it goes against all I've learnt up to now how to look and score a fight. If Ggg didn't win it opens a black box of uncertainty and grey area and confusion.

Do you know what that is?

Its what's used to score a professional boxing fight.

Unlike amateur boxing where it prizes point-scoring blows and does not factor physical strength (power) , pro boxing relies on who is landing the harder punches.

GGG may have landed an average of 2 or 3 more punches per round, but many of those were measuring jabs that had little to no effect on Canelo.

      In the rematch:

      Defense- Canelo
      Clean hard punches- Canelo
      Effective Aggression- Canelo
      Ring Generalship-Canelo
He doubled him in jabs. FYI. Yes in the pros the number of punches count. Golovkin landed more punches to Canelo's head than vice versa. The head is the primary target in pro boxing.
Clean hard punches goes to Golovkin. He landed more head shots that weren't partially blocked by Canelo.
Boxing goes to Golovkin. Effective agression tied or slight edge to Golovkin. At no point was Golovkin stunned by Canelo nor could Canelo get him to retreat to the ropes. Canelo was stunned by Golovkin several times. Unlike Canelo who was pushing his power punches in the later rounds Golovkins jab still kept their effectiveness late in the fight.

This is a quote from Steve Weisfield who has judged over 1600 fights.

"A lot of times fans hear that judges focus on four categories: clean punches, effective aggressiveness, defense and ring generalship," Weisfeld said. "But based upon my own experience, my conversations with other judges and seminars conducted by top judges, judges really focus on one category, and that's clean punches."

There is no doubt Golovkin landed more punches than Canelo. He outlanded Canelo to the head using his jab mixed in with power punches. He landed 2 to 1 in jabs over Canelo. Counting 1 power punch equal to 2 jabs Golovkin on punch count came out ahead. That is being very generous to Canelo. Those scoring criteria are not criteria they are guidelines. If a round is close a judge uses those guidelines and his gut feelings as to who won the round.

Why would I bother, man? Would it change the outcome? Would it even change your mind? Nah. All that happens when you get into that kinda **** is that it inevitably degenerates into a repetitive litany of 'YDKSAB' or variants thereof. I got better things to do than argue subjective opinion with a guy who thinks he knows better than everyone else.

My sole purpose was to broaden your knowledge, not to claim that either fighter had won or lost. A day when you learn something new is never a wasted day!

nah GGG ruined Canelo's life. Heard Dazn bombed. Couldn't even sell out Madison Square Garden.

                puahahha

Canelo was so scared of GGG, he got caught on PED's twice. Regardless of what he does this point forward, he will always have * PED Roid cheat next to his name. He will also have those 2 L's against GGG in 80% of the public's eyes.

                Forever a drug cheat.

Artorias is a hater of Canelo.

And according to this clown, Pacquiao won the fight against Mayweather JR.
