The fact they've never faced an elite fighter before??....

Who knows if they can actually win because you never know what can happen on the big stage. But we all know what ability looks like and the Charlos have ability.

canelo gotta fight or give up the wbc strap for the 2nd time in his career
I really doubt the WBC will strip Canelo for not fighting Jermall. They love Canelo. If they did strip him and declare Jermall the WBC champ Jermall would become the full WBC champ who never beat a top middleweight and he still wouldn't make that much or get that much respect and Canelo would still be considered the real champ by most fans.

Right now I think GGG and Canelo would both beat him. Haymon used his power to make Jermall a champion by beating two middleweights that most fans never even heard of and neither of them could fight much. He was set to fight Monroe who was easily beaten by Saunders and KOed by GGG. Now that Monroe is out he is fighting a guy ranked 54th by boxrec. He is unproven at 160 and I am not sure how good he is. He will probably look good and win by KO but what will it prove when he is fighting another cherry pick ranked 54th in the world. I think he needs to fight and defeat a legit top 10 world ranked middleweight to show everyone he is this great middleweight he claims to be.

We don't know if Charlo is big or strong. He has looked big and strong against underwhelming competition, but we need to see that against top competition.

Tavoris Cloud looked like a monster too - very big and strong - until he lost to BHop, Adonis, and Beterbiev. Dude was an average fighter with a crazy build, but gotta be able to use that for it to mean something

He’s looked good against the competition he has faced so far so I can’t rule it out.

At this point it’s only a guess how he would do. It’s like trying to predict the success of a really good triple-A baseball player

Sound to me like some of you really don't want to find out if he is the real deal or just hype or not because he might BEAT the fighter you like more and you would have to STFU and go jump on another bandwagon

I want to SEE FOR MYSELF vs GGG and vs Canelo if he is the Real Deal, lets find out, why try to match him with everybody else besides the best in the Division...you guys are doing it because of FEAR you want him as far away from Canelo as possible and you're hoping that a Jacobs, Andrade, Derevenyenchenko or whoever else can be the gate keeper for your guy and stop Charlo's momentum

I'm not in the business of protecting fighters who can whip my ass, these are PROFESSIONAL FIGHTERS! Stop trying to protect them to keep your damn "Internet Bragging Rights" Intact

Yeah "Charlo Need To Step Up" well the "Step Ups" have to be willing to fight him too. Stop pretending like the WBC did not Order Charlo vs GGG and it is GGG Team saying that fight is not happening. Not only that WTF does GGG need to fight Charlo for to get a 3rd Match with Canelo. GGG can tell the WBC to go to hell and take the WBA Route where he is #2 behind Lemieux. A Lemieux who I doubt can even make 160 anymore without borderline killing himself.

Charlo is Interim, he can play this waiting game for as long as the WBC wants to play it because guess what, when they order the fight and they will order the fight because the WBC is not going deal with a Lawsuit not even for Canelo, then Interim gets 50/50 if they go to purse bid!

More high-risk low reward than anything at least for Jermall. Honestly, they have won the majority of rounds against every opponent they have fought. 160 is a different story though. Martyrosian put up a good fight and Lara had the same trainer so i guess that was outta the question. I really thought Williams was gonna put up a close fight against Jermall but was outclassed. Jackson was doing great against Jermell and i thought that fight was stopped too quickly by the ref.

As far as elite competition, they were brought up properly thru the ranks and by the time their title fights came around there wasnt great names at 154 with floyd retiring, the titles becoming vacant and canelo cashing out money fights vs cotto and giving his title to ggg. That said i think Jermell's toughest fight will be against Hurd, and Jermall will be 160 champ soon. They got the physical talent and great skills, a tough combo to win against.

A rare occasion, but we're in complete agreement.

There's no incentive for GGG or Canelo to fight this hypejob because nobody knows him and he's completely unproven. Neither guy would get credit for demolishing him and they would be chastised for having a competitive fight.

Let Charlo EARN a shot by doing what all other fighters have to do: move up the ranks
                    - Andrade
                    - BJS
                    - Danny Jacobs (Charlo called this guy out and hasn't said his name since - serious coward)
                    -Dervenchenko
                    - Brant

Instead Charlo is calling out the #1 guy while fighting bums, still.

I am expecting a different fight this Saturday though as the replacement is intriguing. It's a naturally bigger guy who can box a bit. Could/should tell us more about Charlo and his limitations

Charlo doesn't deserve a shot at them even though he's fought for a mandatory position for them.

Rocky Fielding and Vanes. Now those are guys who really went out to prove themselves
