Good chit. It will be interesting how many people keep Dazn past the free month.

As far as I know, the Sunday Ticket and DirecTV deal is still valid until 2021 or 2022. Not sure where you are getting 2019 from?

Well aware of the MLB deal. Though NFL Redzone is 1000x more popular. Not sure how many aside from the hardcores will be subscribing to DAZN for this. Because most baseball fans just watch their favorite team and are not interested in the entire league as fans are with the NFL. I guess a lot of that has to do with the power of fantasy football.
Yeah the NFL has an early opt out clause in their contract with DirectTV that allows them to get out in 2019. Profootball talk reported that back in October.

Thanks, didn't know that. DirecTV relies heavily on Sunday Ticket so will be interesting to see what happens there. I will be disappointed as I've been getting free Sunday Ticket for five years now.

Forget Showtime and DAZN. My opinion is if Joshua does ever decide to do a US PPV against Wilder. Give it to HBO PPV.

They said they would come back for a one off big event. Joshua v Wilder fits that comment

If they decide to go for Joshua v Miller on prime time WITHOUT attempting a US PPV. Then obviously DAZN are the only ones who will pay a big licence fee

However for Joshua v Wilder, if it takes place in the US. HBO PPV should be a viable option. They are the best programming network on this earth. They were number one in the boxing buisness and have tremendous experience in big events. And no boxer has become big in the US without HBO Backing.

Why exactly would SHO give HBO the biggest PPV out there? HBO is done for good, they have moved on and so should fans.

Who the hell would go to HBO after they just bowed out of boxing.

Americans don't care much for the HW division.

Anthony Joshua won't ever reach Canelo status in America.

He may not reach Canelo status, but put Wilder/Joshua in America and see just how much Americans "don't care much for the HW division."
