Whyte-Chisora is NOT QUALITY level boxing.
Exactly, that's why i'm in two minds about buying one. It's not the money, it's just that i think the fans should stop buying these fights that are clearly not PPV worthy. buying it only encourages them to keep doing it.

I know they won't miss a measly £20 because i think that way, but it's the principle.

Hearn underestimated how much USA fighters earn. That's why he hasn't been able to get any of the top fighters there to go fight on DAZN.

Most of them have said publicly that they already earn more than he offered. I doubt they're lying, why would they lie about that and shortchange themselves? If Hearn paid them more than they earn now, they would go.

Whyte v Chisora doesn't happen without PPV money and Sky's investment into boxing doesn't continue without PPVs.

It's very easy to sit there and shout quality but who is ever putting on quality PPVs these days? You're being unrealistic. Boxers are making more money than ever and it's because of the PPV format (for now).
There are quality PPV’s in the US all the time. Hearn abs Warren have even produced a few in the past. Unfortunately we now get substandard BS like Whyte-Chisora, due to greed.

You’re literally just regurgitating what Hearn says on IFL😂😂

          “Whyte-Chisora doesn’t happen without PPV”

“Boxers are making more money than ever due to PPV”

          It’s nearly verbatim😭😭😭

People like you are what’s wrong with boxing in this country. Have an opinion instead of just regurgitating someone else’s.

          Gullible...

Don’t buy one bro, just stream it. It’s the only way to have your voice heard. If you do, buy Warrington-Frampton cause at the very least its top level boxing.

True. I think i'll get the BT Sport one actually if i do and stream the Matchroom card. It'll be easier to find a good Sky stream anyway.

At least Warrington is happy to put his belt on the line against a genuine good fighter in Frampton. He could've milked the title for a bit in Leeds, he always sells out. So i don't mind paying for that so much, even though i'm still not sure it's a PPV fight.

Yeah exactly. Hearn is the one I’m referring to as lying. He makes out British boxing is booming and there’s so much money in it, yet there isn’t enough money to put fights like Whyte-Chisora on subscription television.

Do me a favour and list all the great PPVs that should be happening over here and in the US.

I hate to break it to you but here in the UK our bread and butter is British level fights and more often than not they land on a PPV.

The Whyte/Parker fight was a great PPV. Yes or no?

If you didn't find value in that £20 then there's no reasoning with you.

If I'm just regurgitating Hearns speak and it's all nonsense then surely Frank Warren would be showing us how PPV is done?

Yeah credit to Warrington, he could of sold any arena/stadium out in Leeds and kept picking up easy pay cheques.
Gonna be a crazy atmosphere in Manchester, both have great fanbases. I was at Frampton-Quigg and the Irish absolutely took over on the Saturday

Hearn's idea of boxing booming is AJ selling out a stadium twice a year and the odd big fight here and there such as Usyk v Bellew and Bellew v Haye

There isn't THAT many good fights happening. If you take the big names such as Brook and Khan, both are fighting garbage opponents. the WBSS final wasn't even in England despite having two english fighters. Then you have Hearn hyping up guys like Ritson, calling him a Geordie Golovkin and got him headlining events and he gets whooped by some Italian/Belgian journeyman.

When your saturday night main events on Sky fights like Okolie v Chamberlain and guys like Ritson headlining, i think it's safe to say that we lack depth in quality when it comes to fights. Fights like that are undercard fights.

Once gets to relatively big names together, he whacks on PPV, it's ridiculous.

Just because Hearn is a good salesman, it doesn't actually mean boxing is booming.
