I forgot about that. Yeah they shouldn't make him do that he could really get hurt bad from the rapid weight cut.

Korobov beat everybody in the amateurs. Jacobs, Kovalev, Derevyanchenko. It's a long list. I hope his ring IQ is still there....

          Doubt it.

He was never that good anyway. He was definitely mis-managed but got whooped by the likes of Andy Lee. Lee was good but not great.

korobov was probably a fringe contender on his best day and they're long gone.

Still, Willy Monroe didn't stand a chance either.

              “ Blockbuster card”

Wow BSN has really hit an all time low with their biased articles.

Matt Korobov was scheduled to fight an 8-round fight vs. Juan de Angel @ 168! Now he has to get to 160 in a week? No Bueno! At least make the weight 164!

when I saw the 175 fight the first thing I thought was that it was a true stay busy fight, so he didn't cut weight and just fought someone lesser at his walk around weight. (thats how stay busy fights should be. If you're going to fight someone with significantly less talent than you, you shouldn't be a weight bully while doing it)

The article says 168. Not 175. The contracted weight for that fight was 162. Two pounds over 160.
