Few years back Korobov would have more than a good chance but not right now. Inactivity and the fact that he has to lose weight in a unhealthy way will be his undoing.

I wouldn't think so. Korobov has had zero fights of significance since his KO loss to Andy Lee. He had one brush up fight against a no hoper earlier this year and didn't fight at all last year. He was preparing for a tune up at 168 and is now a last minute sub against a top Middleweight on one weeks notice. His amateur pedigree is not enough to overcome all of that.

It'll probably be a non-title fight. So they may change the weight if it happens to be him.

He hasn't fought at middleweight for 4 years and his last fight was at light heavyweight. I'm expecting an old zombie.

He is a wasted talent. Not sure who his team/promoter is but they really let him down.

Couple years ago I’d say it’s a better fight. Now...we’ll, it’s a more interesting fight.
