your arguments make no sense. Your initial post was talking about facing top opposition and then somehow the result also plays a role?

And even then you can apply the same reasoning to canelo. Had a draw and the second GGG fight was a toss up.

Also if Canelo didnt fail a drug test, GGG would have faced jacobs, canelo, canelo back to back. I would have preferred derevyanchenko as a substitute, but there were special circumstances involved and it was understandable why he didnt face derevyanchenko as a late replacement.

Learn to be a little bit less biased.

Canelo should be fighter of the year no doubt.

And who cares about Loma I thought he was a bum who couldn't beat salidoe and has no shot versus Mikey.

        Viva mejico cojones!

        Hello, hater.

Gift D according to haters. Like you.

Nobody said that about Loma but it's a fact that Salido is his daddy and his best rival at this moment.

You don't need to said that, México has like 13 champions and is the best boxing , they and the afroamerican.

        Period.

Special Circumstances? Please elaborate. Cuz from where I stand. The special circumstance was that Derevincheko was too much of a risk and could put the put that payday in jeopardy. So he drops the belt and fights a bum. They said it themselves that they would need more time to fight a guy like Derev. So the ducked him. Yes he technically got stripped but he had his chance to defend it but he chose not too. So he might as well have dropped it. Why don’t you call it as it is and you try not being such a biased fanboy.

The special circumstance is that canelo tested positive and they had to find a late replacement and independent if the situation involved golovkin or not, it is understandable that someone declines a high risk and low reward fight at short notice.

That's how boxing operates and from memory I can only recall lennox lewis taking on a tough short notice opponent in vitali klischko.

If fury somehow had cancelled his fight against wilder, it would be similar to if wilder had to face joyce at short notice and i cant see his handlers accepting that fight.

Or if mayweathers fight against baldomir fell through and he had to face williams or margarito at short notice.
No way that would have happened and that's reasonable.

            Another suitable comparison.
If chavez jr tested positive against martinez and the at that time very high risk and low reward golovkin demands to fight martinez at short notice, it is perfectly fine (at least for me), if martinez doesnt want to take him on.

Sounds like your making excuses for Bumlovkin. So you bash Canelo for choosing the safest route but excuse Lil G for doing the same. At least Cinnamon went up in weight and challenged a champion a week one yes but still a champion. Something Lil G has never done. Also it’s no secret that he’s testing out the weight division. You can’t expect a guy to take on the top dog on his first fight. It’s not like he said anyone from 154 to 160 won’t go the distance with him. Sound familiar? So fanboy please.

You are reading what you want to read. I havent criticize canelos choice of opponent at any point of our conservation lol.

Once in a while u can have a soft touch. No problem with that. Canelo fought in september had a quick turn around and is supposed to face a challenge in may.

Still though, saying that fielding was a champion makes you look even more biased. It's the regular title. The title has no value as long as there is a wba super champ.

AND YES i dont count golovkins wba regular title fights to his title run, just in case you use golovkin again as an argument.

Fieldung is an ok british domestic level operator. Had a decent win over zeuge and earned his #9 spot at 168 (which isnt a deep weightclass though).

I’d LOVE if they had televisions or go to 5 judges! Your idea is not a bad one at all!
