Basketball is not as popular as it’s over there in America. And this netball team are only getting some shine because they won something. Nobody really cares about it here.

Yeah pretty much entirely female. Basketball is a niche sport over here for males and females but netball is very popular with women, probably the most popular sport to play but noone watches it on t.v.. My guess would be the lack of any tackling/dribbling or any element of physicality makes it more popular than basketball with women
