Of course fielding was a test, a test to see how canelo handles 168lb a division above.

Has GGG ever tested himself at a weight class above his normal weight class? NO, so we dont know if GGG can handle it, he has never proven that he can.

GGG would look worse, but his stoppage would look nastier.

Fighting a crap fighter is not testing yourself. Just moving up to a new weight to fight a mediocre fighter is not credit worthy. Just stop it. When Canelo fights an upper level fighter than he gets credit. I’m not taking bashing Canelo for this fight he just doesn’t get credit.

forget triple g, what i said has nothing to do with g.

this is about canelo, the biggest name in boxing.

so u believe fielding was a test, merely to serve as a body to see how canelo "handles" the 168 division.

wouldn't u need to face an actual good fighter to see how u really fare at a new weight class?

otherwise we could throw anyone in there at 168 to see how he "handles" it. idk maybe its just me but it doesnt make sense. it was a glorified tuneup, i think we just need to be honest here.

So not even close to the level of crap that this fight was.

Froch was retiring already, Ward said yes why didnt GGG?

look we can argue why he didnt move up etc etc to test himself all day but fact is HE NEVER DID, so we dont know how he can handle himself at a higher weight class cause he has never done it. Canelo has several times.

You can say it isnt, but thats your opinions but fact is moving up to another weigth class is a test, reason why so many boxers dont do it such as GGG cause its a test and not ever boxers dares to be great.
