In this cases when you don't hear anything then its not positive inside the whole thing. This is similar to fans wanting to hear more news surrounding Michaeal schumacher after his skiing accident. 5 years now and no updates in terms of him being in a better condition.

yea been waiting to hear something about Schumacher but from the small bits of info and comments by people who have visited him it doesnt look good at all sadly i think the next we hear from his family will be a statement to say he has passed away

I don't think you can assume that he is, or is going to be, paralyzed on 1 side just because of that. Far too little information and too early to tell.

The last the released, he was no longer in a medically induced coma, but requires mechanical ventilation, so no he can't breath on his own.

Man, that's just awful. I feel sorry for his family. I am still hopeful that he gets through but right now it sounds like he is in vegetated state.
