Not if he fights at the proper division limits with no catchweights.

There's no rule which states that a fighter has to fight in only one division. There's in fact a precedent of fighters being champs at two divisions simultaneously. (And I don't really care for any of these belts, let alone that bogus "regular" thing.)

I would not give GGG anything but props if he fought Fielding, or any other Champion @ 168! My problem with K2, is that he's only considering it now because Canelo is doing it first! GGG's new TV deal will tell me everything I need to know! PBC (Charlo, Hurd), ESPN (Brant), or DAZN (Canelo, Andrade)! We'll see!

Fielding isnt world level mate. He did win a vacant belt, against another guy who wasnt world level. But we saw hes level against an inexperienced Smith. I dont begrudge Rocky hes payday, hes a nice guy, or Canelo an easy one after a hard fight with Golovkin. But there are so many good fights at middle and Canelo is now the man. Golovkin is on the way out. If Canelo doesnt fight a Charlo, Andrade or asks for a Smith catch weight, he should get all the stick Golovkin did.

If Canelo doesn't fight Jacobs, Andrade, Benavidez, Zurdo, Uzcategui, or Smith, after Fielding, I would be disappointed! However, I have no doubt he'll fight one of them. I'll add one exception: Errol Spence Jr.! I would love to see Canelo vs. Errol Spence Jr. in September! I think Jerry Jones and ODLH would love to see it too!

It’s not Rocket Science. There are no big money fights at Super Middleweight on the level with the opposition at Middleweight.
