So far, Wilder has given 3 different excuses for not throwing his right hand hard enough to knock Fury out.

1) Some kind of gypsy voodoo spell was holding him back.

2) He didn't want to use his full power or he would have killed Fury.

3) He couldn't extend his arm because he'd had surgery.

Somebody should have told him that excuses only work if you pick one and stick with it. Imagine if you rang in sick to work and told your boss you had the flu. Then when you came in and he asked if you were over the flu, you told him you never had flu .. it was a bad back that kept you off.
