There was some legit material from him. Really like this version of AJ. F playing the PR game and being the most boring boxer out there. You are arguably the baddest man in the game, time to act like it. Trash these dudes left and right and don't just rely on your promoter to do all the talking for you.
Well Hearn is responsible for the way AJ usually acts i.e "humble" and boring.
Hearn has said many times that he expects his fighters to act in a certain way because Matchroom/Sky events have a lot of corporate sponsors that don't want to be associated with anything too unprofessional or anything that can cause a scandal.
Hearn says that he likes AJ being the kids favourite and a role model to kids.
I get it, it's marketable and makes a lot of money, fair play to them. AJ is an ex gang member, drug dealer, bully etc. I doubt he's done a total 180 and is a total humble nice guy away from the spotlight, not saying he isn't decent but just the way he carries himself. He's obviously built a fake persona for the cameras and very media trained and that's why a lot of people find him to be fake, especially boxing fans. The casual's lap it up though and they play on it. Fair play to them i say, might aswell make all the money they can but if people can't see through it all, they are very gullible.
Lolx.... It's funny when you hear some fan girls say a warrior is scared of another warrior. I can't help but laugh.
Some people forget these warriors have management and they also look at the financial standing point of a fight to agree what each camp think is good for their fighter.
Aside sports and entertainment, boxing is also a Business. Let's not lie and pretend here like we are kids, boxing is about money as well cos if boxing is not about money, wilder would have taking the 15mil plus 4 belts in line and the fight would have been made.
Every fighter wants to maximize their payday.
No doubt. I mean would they choose this sport if they were scared? Like which fighter turns professional thinking to themselves you know what, if I ever see this guy in the professional ranks I'm going to pass on this fight as I'm scared?
So many different factors for these guys once they do turn professional. It is all about their careers and the management team isn't going to risk a loss without getting compensated properly or what not.
Joshua doesn't need to just unnecessarily blast everyone but there is nothing wrong with this. He didn't give the PR answer to these questions. Joshua spoke his mind a dig here or there doesn't hurt anyone.
Of course..... Sometimes you talk down on your opponent or potential opponents just to create the buzz to try and sell the fight.
It's allowed.

I think that sort of low-key persona works great in the UK, here in the US it comes off as very scripted and boring. We like our HWs scary and to have the "baddest man on the planet" persona. That's what made Tyson, Foreman, Frazier etc as popular as they were. Dudes were scary. Ali was loud and controversial.
AJ has the more quiet Lennox Lewis vibe, which OK I get it. But it wouldn't be the end of the world in the US to start bringing the bad guy out a little more. We know it's there..

Without a doubt. He is essentially the John Cena of boxing, or at least to Hearn. Finally he is getting to let loose and be himself.
Listening to Jalen and Jacoby, and Joshua is continuing to go after Wilder and Fury. He said it took them 10 years to find their voice and cong**** to Wilder for holding on to his title via a draw LOL.
Did Joshua force Wilder to not sign the contract he agreed to ?
Mr man, don't start with this old conversations. There was no paper developed to sign. Let's not go back and forth on this again. We have moved past that episode for crying out loud.

Not saying he needs to downplay his opponents. Definitely not saying that as that can comeback to bite him. Ala Floyd vs Gatti. Called him a C+ fighter and then after the fight said I didn't mean that....Well, too late for that LOL.
