I think Wilder may be stuck in his ways and will make little to no adjustments from fight number 1. If he can defend against the jab better and not rush his shots that would serve him well.

Tyson is the pure boxer so I can see him making endless adjustments in a rematch.
The adjustment Wilder needs to make is to add a little more strength. Get up to 220 to 230 lbs so Fury doesn’t smother him as much.

Second spar a lot more because he didn’t react well to all the feints and jabs.

Third work on that left hook. Throw it to the body and head. Tyson gave Wilder plenty of chances to land a hook but Wilder didn’t know how to take advantage.

If I were Tyson there is no style adjustment to make just come in better shape.

The couple times he caught caught were probably due to getting tired.

Drop ten more pounds and lift some weights.

Why would he need to change his style it is working?

Roach is right, Wilder had no answer for a jab or a simple one two and after early rounds fought not to lose.

Roach got the same sense that I got. But if Roach was in the corner, Fury might've got knocked unconscious, lmao... Bad luck Roach would've kicked in lol...

Jesus Freddie, just be humble and be glad that they gave you a corner job. They could've hired any cutman or not hire anyone at all.

And no, taking a chance against the hardest puncher in boxing, who was desperate to land a bomb all night, is the not brightest of ideas.

Davison winning higher profile fights than Freddie these days so maybe Freddie should be happy with his cutman role.

Than again I do agree Fury shoulda been more aggressive later in that fight so idk.

But I dig Fury's team regardless. Davison, Mr Hatton, Freddie & that one crazy mfer whos always being a weirdo & I'm not entirely sure of his real job on the team.

there was no need to be overly aggressive though Fury was racking up the rounds and didnt get dropped till the 9th so leading up to that point any trainer worth something would their fighter don't take risks use the jab keep the distance and feint why throw away a sure win

even without roach's 'gameplan' idea Fury tasted the canvas twice can only imagine what would have happened if he gave wilder more openings

See that. That's the reason Pac dumped this fool and put buby as main coach. The guy is a know it all. I think Roach's brain is decaying fast from his Parkinson or he really just full of himself.
The guy is a joke at this point.

Freddie is the type, that you think he is a handicap person and you'll feel like sympathizing with him, but once his mouth actually starts yapping, your realize he is full of shyit. He knows his craft, but I have to say the guy is full of himself and sounding like a pompous prick than a great trainer. Pathetic.
