It's all well and good to say I would of told him this I would have told him that but I think he done a decent job of watching wilder and sticking to his game plan.
It is abit worrying if he's giving the same choreographed advice to two different fighters in two different divisions.

sounds like Davison had a gameplan, and stuck with it
Roach is more experienced/relaxed, and more likely to change it up
Davison did a great job, and his style will evolve
Wilder was ready to go Fury would know

I kinda agree. I felt Fury could have atleast out wilder down I few times if he had let his punches go a little more but then again. Wilder would fire back. He likes it when guys persue him so he can **** his right hand back like he did with Ortiz in the tenth round. Caught Ortiz reaching in before the knock downs and hurt him.

Freddie would have told Fury to stop hotdogging and keep the stiff jab .
And would have told Fury not to roll .

The only round I would have preferred Fury to take chances was in the 12th. After Fury was KD in the 12th, he got up and buzzed Wilder really good. He could have followed up a bit there.
The rest of the fight I think Fury has the perfect gameplan. Wilder was bewildered most of the fight.

lol roach is a proper snake. He probably wanted wilder to win, that’s why he wanted fury to just go for it

I would agree with Freddie. Go back and watch the fight again. There were times Fury actually stunned Wilder and could have followed up and dropped him. The trainer did play it too safe. I heard him say, “dont get too greedy” between rounds. What people don’t understand before this fight is Fury has a little something on his punches when he commits to them. He was 7th in the HW division with a 70% KO/TKO before the fight and still sits at 68% now.
Wilder-98%
Joshua-95%
Breazeale-85%
Miller-83%
Ortiz-78%
Kownacki-78%
Parker-69%
Fury-68%
Whyte-68%
Povetkin-67%
Pulev-58%
Chisora-57%
Jennings-54%

yep
and I don't have a problem with giving the same advice to fighters in different divisions..... not if their styles/gameplans were similar
not sure who he was referring to..... but just as an example, Saunders/Lemieux, and Wilder/Fury..... would have a similar gameplan, and would receive similar advice..... aside from the individual technicalities for each fighter

Freddie Roach is trying to stay revelant
“I’m more of an offensive coach, I’m very aggressive, and I was a little bit disappointed with the corner work because Ben was telling him to feint, feint and step back and I said to him ‘why are you telling him to step back? Let this guy fight. He can get rid of this guy’,” Roach said to Fox Sports.
And that is the reason your fighters get outboxes, take one or two losses, possibly more, sometime they get stoppage or KO in those losses, his defense plans are mediocre. The thing I don't like is the way Freddie Roach is trying to stay relevant after this fight, saying critiques in the media and practically robbing some shine of Ben Davison. In other words he disrespected Ben Davison with this. Freddie Roach was a excellent trainer in the past, but those days are over and he downgrade now as a trainer. HELL!!! Paquiao saw something in Freddie Roach to put him as advisory trainer only. First a cut man in the Tyson Fury corner, then a advisory trainer in the Paquiao vs Broner. Get the fuck out of here and get the spit bucket asshole.
