Wilder fans are not overly concerned with seeing him fight Joshua because Joshua is not relevant. Joshua is happy to be the British champion, and nothing more. In fact, if you want to see Joshua fight Wilder, Joshua says YOU should "go learn to box and fight him yourself". Joshua doesn't want the fight, unfortunately, Joshua's 'yellow belly' has not stopped Hearn from spewing verbal diarrhea. Hearn's opinion, like Joshua, is irrelevant. They'll continue to be irrelevant to north American fans until they put their money where their mouth is. Actions speak louder than words.

You don't want the fight because you have no purpose then when not if AJ knocks Wilder out, he's already lost ...he's a paper champion.

Funny how quickly the tide have turned. Every where I look Hearn is constantly begging for a Wilder fight, a guy you said nobody outside of Alabama knows. As a matter of fact, the entire match room stable are becoming beggars at this point: we see Brook begging Khan at every turn, Andrade begging for a Canelo fight...man what has happed to Hearn's so called midas touch.

At this moment beating Fury convincingly is more important to Wilder’s legacy.

Or people will say he ran from the rematch.

The people want it. Fury wants it. And I think Wilder wants it.

Who cares what Hearn and AJ want.

Now they can go ahead with their plan to fight Dillian in April.

This silly nonsense and "Wilder's suddenly done something because he's fought a serious opponent for a change".

Regardless of what AJ has done in the States, he's selling out arenas in the UK and doing £££ on PPV. Yeah, he might not do as much "in da state's", but money is money no matter where it's from. I'm sure the guy doesn't give a **** that he's "irrelevant to North American fans", when he's selling out 90,000 arenas in the UK.

It's hilarious how much flack he's getting for rumours (rumors, Fat Yanks) that he's going to be fighting Dillian Whyte (who is, in fairness, currently ranked #5 with the Ring Magazine, and can't help what his passport says).

Not only is the Whyte fight not even CONFIRMED (we don't even know if he'll beat Chisora yet), but it's just a "for the £££" bout.

Let's put it this way.... Joshua's last four opponents, while at favourable (favorable, Fat Yanks) stage of their careers for AJ, had a combined record of 157-8-1 and included a world champion, a former world champion, and a former world title challenger. That's a guy with 22 fights in a five year career.

In a career spanning ten years and 41 fights, Deontay Wilder has fought just three - count 'em, THREE - opponents ranked in the top ten when they faced him.

While the Fury fight has bumped him up (in ironically, a fight where he spent most of it being outclassed), before this AJ held all the cards.

But one decent night for Wilder (where he looked dreadful for at least ten rounds) and all of a sudden AJ is the one "begging" and "irrelevant"?

Other than be the highest-earning name in boxing with three championship belts and being ranked #1 in his division?

                  Okay.

This is a very convenient shift in sentiment for Wilder fans. 6 months ago, all that mattered was AJ accepting a fight, now he’s suddenly irrelevant and belts mean nothing.

If Joshua cared about his legacy he wouldn't have run from huge payday to fight wilder, to fight whyte who he's already beat. Hearn and aj just got out maneuvered. Everyone got excited when wilder and fury fought. Aj had a chance and refused for more easy defenses. Him and hearn exposed
