Pedraza as a factor because he held a title. Of course he wouldn't get praise without Loma. That's what happens when you continually step up and challenge the best.

Loma didn't look his best against Pedraza. Maybe it was the surgery and a less intense training camp, or maybe Pedraza's style was just wrong for him. I think Loma's next fight will tell us more.
So because he couldn't get Easter out of there, he wouldn't get Pedraza out of there? Huh? How does that even make any sense?

Weight drained? Didn't train properly. What other excuses are we going to use? How about the fact that Davis hits really really hard and beat his ass and landed a great hook to finish the job? Why is that so hard to admit?

If Pedraza fought Mikey Garcia this past weekend and Garcia struggled a bit, he wouldn't be getting these passes. People wouldn't rush to hype up Pedraza as being such a good fighter. They would be saying Mikey is overrated or that Davis got him out of there in 7 but Mikey couldn't??

Not saying those would be valid criticisms, but that's what would have been said and you know it. Pedraza most definitely wouldn't get the hype some are giving him now. They would point to him "really losing" to old Edner Cherry and looking like crap against Moran.

Lomachenko looked fine, he always impresses. He's just at a weight class where it will be harder for him as the opposition is much bigger than him and he doesn't have great pop. Once Teofimo emerges and that should be soon, we shall see what happens when those two face off.
