If those two were to fight, I'd pick Easter Jr. Because Pedraza won rounds off Lomachenko and was competitive with him until the last few roudns, we are going to overrate him? Dude got WASHED by a 22 year old Davis, "really lost to old ass Edner Cherry" and beat a old worn out Beltran. Better resume's my as^. Oh yeah, just before the Beltran fight he was in a REAL struggle with Antonio Moran.
Since when does age 22 mean anything in terms of knockouts? Mike Tyson was HW champ by age 20 KO'ing grown ass men.

Easter himself got knocked down by Mikey and was basically in survival mode for the entire fight. He came on in one of the late rounds, but for the most part he was just trying to survive the distance.

Head to head, I would choose Pedraza over Easter. He is the better boxer of the two. I'm sure if Mikey had to choose between fighting Easter or Pedraza, he would choose Easter again all day.

Why? Mikey would likely get Pedraza out of there. He beats both easily, and well he already beat one of them in Easter fairly easy.

I mean I guess we pick and choose when age matters, but fair enough if you don't think it is valid here. The point remains, he got WASHED by Davis. Something if you want to compare, Easter Jr did not get against Mikey, who is superior to Davis.

And those that mention the fights they think Easter Jr "really lost" completely ignore the Cherry fight for some reason. Why is that?

Pedraza is a non-factor in the big picture. If he hadn't fought Lomachenko, he wouldn't be getting nearly the praise nor would he be getting as overrated.

But right after the fight, some Lomachenko fans definitely felt a bit insecure of his performance compared to Davis and started making threads that Pedraza landed more punches in 7 rounds vs Davis then he did the entire fight vs Lomachenko L-O-L.

Pedraza only needs a world class trainer so he can get better.

Lipnets & Broner are better wins than both

But Easter vs. Lomachenko would be a nice fight to make.

And Russell Jr., Walters, Rigo and Linares are better wins than Lipnets and Broner.

Mikey couldn't get Easter out of there, he's not getting Pedraza out any easier. Pedraza was weight drained at 130 against Davis. Wouldn't be the same fight at 135.

Pedraza as a factor because he held a title. Of course he wouldn't get praise without Loma. That's what happens when you continually step up and challenge the best.

Loma didn't look his best against Pedraza. Maybe it was the surgery and a less intense training camp, or maybe Pedraza's style was just wrong for him. I think Loma's next fight will tell us more.

No. Just no. Rigo coming up 2 weight classes having only fought 3 rds in 2 years is not a good win. Walters inactive for a year is not a good win. Russell Jr is a good win and better than Lipnets and Broner.

All of a sudden Pedraza is some great fighter after getting in the ring with Loma? I remember a year ago everyone was calling Pedraza a bum who never beat anyone of note when he was KOd by Tank. All of sudden every guy that fights Loma, their status changes after their fight as some great fighter.
