The writer in this article did a good job of pointing out real facts,, If they move the Rematch to Las Vegas or New York the fight will rake in over 500k ppv buys.

There shouldn’t be a Fury Wilder 2. Do you hear Fury fans excited like you Wilder fans are?as far as they are concerned and 70% of people that watched the fight Fury won.
Wilder has just devalued that WBC belt . Even if Joshua smashed Wilder in 2 rounds and became Undisputed champion there is a gypsie that has never been beat in the ring.
What Fury did is what fighters do to Wilder on a regular until he catches them. He is there to be outboxed. Wilder is a brother so I won’t go all in but what is this someone that can’t box we give a new term for it.... Awkward? Fury is Awkward. Wilder is just Looks awkward. He has crazy crazy power which makes him dangerous but he is very limited. He doesn’t even use his god given athleticism to his advantage. Fights the pace of every fighter who outweigh him by 50 lbsComment

That 15 million dollar offer was rumored to be increased in June when Wilder initially agreed to fight Joshua, then he backed out.
Now there has been something else put in place for Wilder to be guaranteed a two fight deal with Joshua which means he would make at least 30 million to fight Joshua twice...much more than he has made to fight anyone else...
Oh and about the PPV thing...last I checked the way that PPV revenue works is that the network takes 10% off top and the remaining 90% is split in half between the cable providers and the promoter(s).
So if that is the case, if we rounded up the Wilder-Fury PPV to $80, Showtime would have took $8 x 325000 = 2.6 mil while the cable providers and Queensbury/Haymon would get 11.7 million each.
Divide that 11.7 million in half and that is what each fighter would have received in PPV revenue. So in Wilder's case if he got a base salary of 4 million and then a PPV backend of 5.85 million, he would have received a total of 9.85 million for the Fury fight. So in essence he got a shade below that figure.
Still a good amount lower than he would have received if he fought Joshua.Comment

They drew the same number as canelo did vs angulo and Liam Smith and neither has ever had a us ppv fight. Not great numbers but not horrible as Hearn would lead you to believe.Comment

Everyone is excited for a Wilder vs Fury rematch. when was the last time a heavyweight fight got this level of mainstream coverage? this got more hype and exposure than AJ vs Wlad. the rematch is the hottest fight in boxing and it'll triple the earnings of the first fight. Eddie ***** and the bodybuilder are now irrelevant and worthless as they try to hype up a Dillian Shyte rematch. There shouldn’t be a Fury Wilder 2. Do you hear Fury fans excited like you Wilder fans are?as far as they are concerned and 70% of people that watched the fight Fury won.
