Ok so Bernard Hopkins and Floyd both defyed the odds. Thanks for pointing that out. Floyd was just great enough to not get brutally ktfo by a C Level fighter/ part time day laborer aka Joe Smith.

Why compare Cecilia to Floyd? Obviously she's not as good.

But it doesn't change the fact that she would be heavily undersized here and against a much younger opponent.

She really is just way too big. Not interested. Shields should find a top opponent her own size to fight, and if there aren't any, well, I feel bad for her, but maybe that's also a lesson about how shallow the talent pool is in the sport she is competing in and maybe she should start being more realistic about that.

I’m not comparing the two fighters I’m comparing the situation he described.

Same for Floyd it doesn’t change the fact that he face a much heavier and much younger opponent at nearly 40yrs of age.

Claressa Shields is a woman on a mission

Cecilia Braekhus vs Claressa Shields in the 154 lbs is a mismatch. Claressa Shields is more young, talented, more speed and is big for Cecilia Braekhus. I want Amanda Serrano vs Cecilia Braekhus in the 147 lbs. That is my dream match. I want Claressa Shields vs Ivana Habazin, Alicia Napoleon and Savannah Marshall after the Christina Hammer fight, If she win.
