The best lightweight fight possible right now may never come to pass. Unified titlist Mikey Garcia is heading to welterweight for at least a night and promotional gulfs exist even if he wasn't. We can still hope, eventually, a clash can occur.

My weekly bet was placed on Loma stopping Pedraza in one of the rounds 9, 10 or 11.

no there isn't a comparable resume after just 12 fights. Mainly because there has never been someone of his skill level who chose to partake in 2 Olympics and wait until he was 26 yrs old to turn pro. He knew he had to make up for lost time.

If anyone doesn't deserve to have that 1 L on his record, it's Loma.

Lomachenko by TKO in 8. He's just too good, it's insane

Pedraza boxe well, but not at the same level

I guess everyone Lomachenko fights are good before the fight but afterwards they suddenly become bum C class fighters. Hope R. Easter is next in line.

Im tellin you. These Lomachenko haters are sad. It’s like any achievement the guy makes is invalidated by the salido loss. Funny how they never mention how salido was an overweight at the weigh in and loma still took the fight. Not to mention the low blowing billygoat impersonating cheater in that was salido that night.

This was a good win but loma should take a well-deserved rest. Fighting at an unnatural weight class against a puncher off shoulder surgery looks like it took a toll on him. He looked more exhausted than ive ever seen him in the post fight interview. Maybe go down and fight the mexican berchelt? There should be decent money for that fight.
