I think he's well out of his weight class against the top 3.

Joshua in particular is a horrible match for him. Usyk's a great boxer but a massive, strong, very good boxer is too much for him.

He might not fear Fury's power as much but I don't think he gets near him enough to score and wouldn't have enough to stop him. He'd take that beautiful dancing Fury jab all night.

Wilder, maybe. He'd be walking into a lot of jabs trying to get in range and hoping he can make him pay for any right hand miss. But Wilder's straight right would land eventually and that would be lights out.

We have weight classes for a reason. He might be a big Cruiserweight but he still a Cruiserweight.

I agree. It;s not in English but I don't think he meant he fears Wilder or Fury because they are harder to beat than AJ. I think he wants to fight AJ because AJ is generally considered the best heavyweight with most of the belts. Not by everybody but by the Majority.

If you think launching telegraphed right hands means he has more "Intangibles", then good luck to you. Haha.
You're foolish if you think Wilder wouldn't take his head off. Yes, Usyk is 10x more skilled but Wilder has the deadly equalizer and would have no fear of attacking the smaller and feather fisted man. Bellew was lighting him up and you don't think Wilder could land his bombs?

Given three factors is his really a surprise?

          Joshua is the number one
Joshua is the biggest cash draw
Joshua and Usyk are both signed to matchroom

Joshua is a text book fighter, what he does is what Usyk has been trained to fight against, he won't bring anything Usyk hasn't seen before. Yes, bigger and more power but that is is.
wilder was beaten by an ex ******* user who was obese and inactive for 3 years......wilder was schooled by fury and has proven to everybody he is a scrub

Where was this "athleticism and speed" vs Fury

he couldn't land on a 260lb overweight white man and was getting beaten to the punch virtually every time

Roy Jones Jr had athleticism and speed

                Wilder has power

                that's it

Anyone with half a brain would rather face Joshua than Fury or Wilder. You make ~10x more money against AJ than the other two. That is the deciding factor, no matter how many times fools yell "scurred doe".

Isn't Usyk signed with Hearn?... so what's the secret here?

                      Joshua is the number one.
                      Biggest payday of Usyk's career.
Wilder has become irrelevant and too greedy for anyone with Usyk's stature to stomach.
