Comments Thread For: Wilder: I Weighed 209 Pounds; Gave Up 50-Plus Pounds To Fury

Deontay Wilder was even lighter than his official weight of 212 pounds for his heavyweight title defense versus Tyson Fury on Saturday night than we first thought. Wilder weighed 209 pounds, according to the WBC champion, when he stepped on another scale in his dressing room following Friday's official weigh-in just outside Staples Center in Los Angeles. The 6-feet-7 Wilder also said on a conference call Tuesday that the 6-feet-9 Fury unofficially was 260 pounds when the big British challenger was weighed in his dressing room.

Why does he keep making little excuses if he felt he won?

Fury could come out and say he is not 100% yet, but he doesn't need to because he knows he won.

        How many excuses now ???/

Lost track over 4 or 5 now ...

How about you boxed no opposition over your career went up a level and had to fight someone who was actually a boxer who wouldn't stand there to club him to death.

Who the hell gets lighter as they get to their mid 30's? I'm starting to wonder if Wilder has some health issues that need looking into. At this rate he'll make Cruiserweight by the end of 2019, and look like a skeleton.

Canelo and Wilder could of gained alot more respect in their respective robbery draws telling the truth, rather than lying and claiming they won despit everyone seeing they lost and then spouting off exuses. embarrising tbf.

Every article on here has to do with Wilders excuses on the Fury fight. Horrible decision, Fury won!
