Aj needs to fight and beat ortiz impressive to keep pace with fury-wilder

Ortiz fights to the level of his competition. He did more than outbox Wilder. Look, I have no problem with Whyte or Miller...Aside from the fact that it would not be a good experience for Miller. He really has to develop more as a fighter and his style will get him creamed. Whyte had his chance at the Gold Ring, but would be a live dog for sure.

I'm not convinced personally, I mean he just doesn't seem good enough to coming forward to warrant the complete package label, I think that's why he failed to finish Wilder and doesn't steam roll poor oposition. Obviously you're entitled to disagree.

Fair on your views of Miller and Whyte in terms of performance I would pretty much agree there.

Money has been coming in on both sides, however, with Joshua reaching a whopping -2500 at one point and Povetkin stretching as high as +1450.

Really though that only shows as a 14/1 odds if I'm understanding it. It does show Wilder Povetkin was 50-50 (-153 to Wilder) when that came about though and Wilder was a favourite to Ortiz at -325.

But you supplied a link that only showed -1400, 14/1 you didn't prove anything. Just forget about that the odds of Povetkin being more favoured against Wilder than Ortiz with the source YOU provided.

With a rematch between Fury-Wilder, AJ is now an outsider. If he wants to stay relevant, he needs to go after Ortiz. A dangerous fight but it earn him back some respect after the BS that he did this year.

What AJ needs more than anything is for another HW contender to emerge. The fact Wilder didn't look good against Fury hurt him as much as Wilder, because a fight between then not only lost stock, it might not be possible if Fury beats Wilder in a rematch.

I mean, come on...Ortiz struggled to take out Kauffman...that says a lot more than the loss to Wilder.

Ortiz needs to fight another top 10 before making one last run at a title. Kauffman is ranked 60th on BoxRec...Ortiz v Breazeale or Whyte is a good shout for early 2019 in my opinion.

You can't fight Cojanu and Kauffmann then complain the elite boxers are ducking you. Title shots need to be earnt. Fight somebody like Parker or Povetkin, then if Ortiz wins he can say he deserves a shot at the top dogs.
Right now he has a uninspiring resume, had a title shot and got KTFO, and has done nothing since.
Joshua Whyte would sell well and I think that will be the April fight. Out of all the contenders I think Whyte deserves a title shot the most.

Anyone top five but a rematch. No one needs to seem him smash Whyte again. Everyone knows it'll only be worse fo Dillian. Everyone. If you want to give Joshua an easy fight it's Whyte. If you want a guaranteed win it's Whyte. I'll take one of these obvious no hopers like Schwarz over Whyte because at least Schwarz might have something he's hiding. Whyte has showed us plenty, ain't none of it gonna help him against Joshua.

Breazeale would be even worse. Like Whyte there is no reason to believe he might could beat Josh, but unlike Whyte he's not done **** but sit on ass for a while.
