Great explanation! I always give a champion the count & any drunk can walk in a straight line so I make him change direction. He did that on both knockdowns. This is why Reiss gets a lot of high profile title fights. My 3 favourite refs are Reiss, Ingo Barrabus & Steve "let them kill each other" smoger. Smoger stays out of the way & doesn't wave anything off too fast. Barrabus is an Italian judge/ref who mostly judges but when he does ref he does an outstanding job staying out of the way. He let's guys fight out of clinches & allows inside work. I always think about him in the Botha/Grant fight. Letting those 2 washed up 40 year olds slug it out. We need more refs like Reiss...

Ref robbed Wilder of a KO victory!

I give Fury credit he has balls and a ton of heart but he should’ve been counted out!

There’s video where the ringside time scorer gets up when Tyson touches the mat and counts, when she was at 6 while Reiss was at 4!

I picked Fury to outbox Wilder which he mostly did but even Jack Reiss admitted that he didn’t fully follow boxing protocol and basically did his own thing!

Reiss needs to be investigated, never seen a ref get down on their knees and yell the count near a fighters ears!

9.5 out of 10 refs would wave it off for the safety of the fighter!

There’s plenty of videos that show there are discrepancies with the count as well!

It was a profound moment in boxing history. You will always get the 5 to 10% of haters out there that will always talk out there assses. Great sportsmanship between two great human beings.

By the way I was at the fight and when Fury went down my brother and I grabbed our jackets to leave,
Fury pops up and finished the round strong. That was the definition of HEART, unbelievable.

*** Floyd Bayless Jr. who wouldnt even let Maidana box on the inside. He was like an invisible bubble and bounced Maidana back 10 feet every time he tried coming in.

And *** Weeks with that wack as stoppage in a CHAMPIONSHIP fight that was practically a draw at the time of stoppage. Ive seen guys hurt way worse than Kovalov. Like Paulie M said "The stoppage was TERRIBLE". And it robbed Ward off an uncontroversial win.

Nah I am in facebook boxing groups and people have put timers up on the side of the tv and you can see that Fury was up on his feet exactly 9.9 seconds after he went down

I had no dog in the fight their both below average awkwardly tall hws but luckily for them the whole damn division sucks so that’s what we end up with.
