this fight was closer than I thought, the power of influence is real, listening to the commentary swayed my opinion, watching it with no sound showed a close fight. the knock down in the 12th does justify a draw imo, but fury looked sharper but didn't land much, wilder didn't get credit for some of the body shots imo. good fight has the HW division buzzing, boxing wins

1. I’ve seen you’re comments on here before, definitely a fanboy...the back-pedalling begins.Lol!
1) I don't even like Wilder, but I'm a realist.
2) I agree that the 115-111 card was ridiculous but there were a lot of close rounds due to Fury's inactivity.
3) I don't mind a draw. Both guys move on and it seems fitting seeing as how Fury was pretty much KTFO but was leading on the cards.
4) I did expect Wilder to KO Fury late and look what the F happened. I called it exactly right. Kuddos for getting up but don't act like anything happened that was shocking. We knew Fury was the better boxer and we knew that Wilder has freak like power for some reason.
The end
2. Good to read we can agree on something
3. As I said previously I have no problem with the result, we can agree again.
4. I never said anything was shocking, I said Wilder was expected to blast him out, which he was and said so himself. of course fury is the better boxer but he’d been inactive and you know the rest, hence he was exposed.
Facts...The end!!!Comment

Wilder is like a woman with all of this crying.
Deontay got a gift. His face shows that when they announced a draw because he knew a lost.Comment

His closed and swollen eye also shows fury did take it to him. On verge of being shut. Although Wilders fans will say furys punches are pitty pat.Comment

The numbers don't lie man. It's a fact that Wilder out threw Tyson Fury by some one hundred or more odd punches. In addition, Fury only outlanded Wilder by only eighteen punches. Was this supposed to be some blow out and dominating victory by Tyson Fury given those statistics? I'll let you be the judge.Comment

Indeed. I wouldn't have it any other way. Always been fairly comfortable with my own opinion. Not quite sure you award people credit for missing punches though...The numbers don't lie man. Look, man, I ain't gonna waste both of our time back and forwarding over who deserved to win... I got my mind, you got yours and neither of is gonna change it at this point. I'll just leave you with the opinion of the TBRB:
"A champion is someone who gets up when he can’t…”
Last week, this page mentioned that the Heavyweight battle of the giants, Fury-Wilder, may be fascinating. It was. “Let’s hope Fury lives up to his name,” we said. He did. He did more than that. His strategy, skill, courage, and remarkable recuperative powers gave the sport something special. In the twelfth round, Fury fought like BEOWULF after getting up from not one KO punch but two consecutive ones from the most destructive heavyweight today in Deontay Wilder.
But boxing, being boxing, has to throw a stink-bomb into the party. Fury-Wilder was no draw. Two of the judges got it wrong and the Board acknowledges what the world does -most of us strongly believe an injustice was done to Fury. We appreciate his graceful responses and his willingness to transition into an inspiring figure.
Isn’t it a wonder that boxing can’t even present a clear picture of the championship in its flagship division? We can. Fury was #8 and Wilder #2 when they fought to an official draw. The Board considered it a bad draw and ranked them accordingly. Fury is now #2 (though several members argued he should be #1) and Wilder is #3.

I see. Well good let me speak. In order take the champion's title away from him you have to do so in dominating fashion or by knockout and Tyson did not do that. He just barely outpointed him.Indeed. I wouldn't have it any other way. Always been fairly comfortable with my own opinion. Not quite sure you award people credit for missing punches though...

By domination fashion I mean nearly beating him within inches of a knockout with several knockdowns in between. I am not dis*****g that Tyson should have gotten the nod. I believed he won the fight also.
All I am saying is I can see how the official three judges rationalized scoring it a draw; Because in addition, to not dominating the fight, Fury was hurt and dropped to the canvas hard twice too. Therefore, it is hard to give the challenger the benefit of the doubt given those material facts.Comment
