Kovalev can win the rematch but with a shorter camp and training less hard is a bad idea. Every trainer said he undertrained but duva saying he will train less

I believe Kovalev can do it but he needs to listen to his team. I know it's probably hard after the drama he had in his Ward camps but he's gotta take that leap of faith. If he prepares like a 35 year old fighter maybe he's got a chance to reclaim the WBO belt against Alvarez. He's a light heavyweight not a flyweight so he's still got a few solid years left in his tank.

Kovalev looked fine the last few fights with Abror Tursunpulatov training him. Until Alvarez landed a good shot, that is. But Trainers are not Krushers problem. I believe that his problem was he really believed his own hype and felt like he was made of all granite and everyone feared him.

I still think Kovelev has 2-3 years of good fights left in him, but he has to be honest about where he is and what he can do at this stage of his career. He is no longer likely to win slug fests. He needs to become a better boxer, and hope for the KO's, not expect them.

He needs to box the way he did againt Hopkins.

Why is everyone acting as if Kovalev has had a crazy decline? The first Ward fight he got robbed and Im still not convinced that he convincingly lost the rematch as Ward kept low blowing him. And he was up against alvarez and got caught and instead of holding he tried fighting toe to toe.

I think he is far from done. And he was the real deal and had every reason to believe his own hype as he was crushing guys. His power was some of the if not THE most devastating of his era

I remember when Duva talked about Kovalev like he made her old ***** drip with ***** juice. Now she talk about dude like he's a 15 year old dog with medical issues.

He's done. Gone are punch resistance, speed and pop of punches.
Gonna end up bad for him. Quit now.
