Comments Thread For: Wilder: It's Only Right To Give Fury Rematch As Soon As Possible

There's nothing in Deontay Wilder's contract that states he must grant Tyson Fury a rematch. Three days after their controversial split draw, Wilder still couldn't help but feel like he owes the courageous challenger a second shot at his WBC heavyweight title. Wilder revealed during a conference call Tuesday that he wants an immediate rematch with Fury.

I hope he means it. Would love to see that fight again. Only fair for it to be in the UK for the next go around

Chances of that are slim to none and slim just left town..........

After this fight did good numbers and the rematch is going to at least double the PPV buys? Yeah, this has Vegas written all over it.

The fact is Deontay Wilder nor any other heavy weight on this planet has the power to KO Tyson Fury. When I saw Tyson Fury splattered on the floor like a big gigantic dragon I knew in my heart of hearts that he was gonna get up. I couldn't imagine such a fine specimen of a man not to do otherwise. So Deontay is gonna have to learn how to box and I'm afraid he's not gonna have enough time.

So basically, they make a fight for April and make Joshua again look like a third wheel.

Quite a good way of relegating Joshua to third place without actually having to fight him.

And then when the negotiations start, both are stronger.

Wilder you are the one that needs the rematch. You can’t sleep at night Knowing u lost and they gave u a gift. Be a man and admit u lost. Most ppl believe Fury won, only the Wilders **** riders can’t accept they were wrong.

B, bu, but, i broke my arm doe, my hand was broke too, got this long scar. Had to use only my left hand while sparring.

If I was Fury, Id fight AJ for a ton of money in the biggest fight in the HW division, especially cause he knows, like real fans know, that he won last Saturday.

Wilder needs time to heal his arm, hand, confidence....and learn to use his left lmao

The first fight should have been Vegas. So if it did 150k buys then the rematch 300k? See what I mean? I wouldn't rule out the UK so fast. There is always a chance plus UK would do more buys with fight being on at a more reasonable hour too.
