Disappointing matchup. Loma is taking a step backwards with this weak opponent. How does he go from Linares to Pedraza.

    Weak ass fight

He wants the strap. Hell even if Charlie zellenoff somehow had the belt Loma would want to take that trinket. He wants to unify so it is a necessity. Also Pedraza is a pretty good fighter. He lost to Tank but tank is a big talent. Pedraza has some dog in him. Don't write him off due to a loss. Fighters lose, it happens.

This guys better than he gets credit for I feel he damaged his image a little vs Tank. He was really off that night and had a rather odd uncharacteristic gameplan. Not saying he threw the fight but it was a very weird performance.

He's better than he showed vs Tank.

I'm in the minority I like this fight.

Agreed. Pedraza is a damn good fighter. I cannot figure out what people are complaining about. He is definitely a top 5 lightweight, maybe top 3.

It could be how highly people think of Lomachenko like no opponent is good enough lol, idk. Pedraza is very skilled and stylistically its very intriguing. Their styles are somewhat similar and should gel very well.
                    I'm expecting a good fight.

Pedraza is a legitimate opponent for practically anybody else and maybe even favoured.
