Comments Thread For: Fury on Joshua: They Are Just Borrowed Belts, They Are Still Mine

TYSON FURY warned Anthony Joshua he is coming for the belts he believes he still owns. The Manchester-born fighter says a rematch with Deontay Wilder and then a unification clash with Joshua before the end of 2019 is possible. But he questioned Joshua's status as world champion after his dramatic draw with WBC title holder Wilder in Los Angeles at the weekend

Fury is the King right now, even without a title! He did what Joshua wouldn't do, when everyone said he couldn't do it, and he did the damn thing! He still has to be concerned about that 12th round! Wilder still has that power, and Joshua is bigger than Wilder! I think Fury is in the driver's seat! Finkel and Hearn have to outbid each other to fight Fury, or both swerve Tyson Fury until late 2019!

After the BS from the Hearns earlier this year, I think it would be hilarious for Fury & Wilder to “freeze out” Joshua. Let him fight Pulev.

Maybe Fury shouldn't have given up those belts if he loves them so much, if he want's them back he'll have to get himself to the top of the rankings. He's more than capable of this, but has to be willing to work for it. Unless he wants to be stripped of a belt or 2, the only reason Joshua can fight someone other than a mandatory defence is if it's a unification.

As I've said from the beginning,Fury is the true champ of the UK who stood up for the UK's honor & stepped up when the other pretender was busy facing hypejobs on their way out, when the other UK hypejob was busy turning down the offer he asked for & gave his word would be enough. Fury is the #1 hw,Wilders #2 & Ortiz is #3.

But didn’t he lose the belts for his PED use? I’ve never seen a fighter come off a two year suspension for PEDs and get praised like Fury did lol. Now all the media saying he was out 2yrs due to mental health smh. That seems like the excuse for a lot of things now a days, when actually he was out 2 years because he was a cheater. Even tried to cheat the testing in this Wilder fight
