I'm not saying Fury is the GOAT but i think he's a tough nights work for anyone, especially at his best, which i don't think he was on Saturday.

I would say OVERRATING it more than anything just because Vitali and Wlad ERA was considered boring before this ERA. They was just levels above everybody else during their ERA while this ERA I think is a step back from them are far as SKILLS (other than Fury) so yeah it is more Interesting because the talent Level seems far more even as well as the SIZES of the fighters (as far as height goes as least) in this ERA for the most part. Compared to Vitali and Wlad not only being better than everybody in their ERA but also towering over them.
Nobody has pulled away from the Pack yet. Same with Welterweight in which it was Mayweather, Pacquiao and the rest for years, now things have even out as far as talent goes so people are intrigued by it so fans overrated that Division currently as well because of Intrigue.

I don't think there's such a thing as a weak era. The top few in any era have to be excellent boxers.
I think the difference is the characters and whether the big fights get made.
In the 90s we got trilogies, rematches and Tyson's appeal looming over the division. But when you're including Rid**** Bowe in your top 4 you must know there was some weakness in the division.
The post Lewis era is defined as weak because the brothers weren't that appealing. And of course the biggest fight of the era (ie between them) couldn't happen.
Right now we've got exciting fighters. We've got a one punch 'bad man' in Wilder. Fury is hugely talented and laugh a minute in his press conferences. AJ is a human wrecking ball. The supporting cast aren't bad either.
We just need to get the fights made and this era compares well.

I would say Fury, Joshua, and Wilder have the chance to put up legacies as good as Lennox and Evander.

Most big guys have different avenues in sport to pursue, plus MMA is big now. The talent pool just ain't there, and it shows

I'm not ready to define it yet BUT it's the most entertaining era since the 90's as far as personalities and action.
Joshua/Whyte
Joshua/Klitshcko
Wilder/Ortiz
Fury/Wilder
Whyte/Chisora
Were all excellent fights with great drama and a lot of good buildups and to think we've not seen Joshua/Fury and Joshua/Wilder yet, which figure to be even bigger and maybe even better than the others.
