Yes, his timing was off thanks in large part due to Tyson Fury's height, reach, upper body movement and defense. It took him awhile to eventually find his rhythm but when he did he ultimately hurt and dropped Fury twice.

First of all.. the bell rang, they both had a minute in the corner.. secondly, when the ref called a timeout at the beginning of the eight.. this gave Ortiz more time to recover too.. plus in the Fury fight.. the sobriety tests after the ten count was a joke.

i am rewatching the fight and im not seeing this dominance that fury did to wilder. both men were missing alot, fury landed here n there but it wasnt this dominant performance im reading about, I had fury winning but alot of the first 6 rounds were closer than I thought. without the knock down in the 12th its a clear victory for fury but with it, I can see why they made it a draw... but wilder looked pretty bad as expected vs a 6'9 award guy and must do more if they fight again because fury will only be better and fight smarter... cant wait for the rematch

Did you even watch the fight? Fury got up before the 10 count and told the judge he was okay. The ref instructed him to walk to the corner and back which he did. The ref then let him continue the fight.
