Just two fights ago, Pacquiao was labelled a one-trick pony and a one-dimentional wild slugger who is a contender at best. His win over Barrera was a fluke and he was exposed by Marquez as nothing but a "little Mayorga".

After knocking out Morales and dominating Larios, suddenly, his win over Barrera was NO fluke and that they were witnessing more dimensions to Pac's game.

Now, some people on this forums asking whether Pac can be an all time great P4P. Coming from a big Pac fan, I would have to say NO(and never will unless you're Pinoy ). When you mention "ALL TIME GREATS", Ali, SRL, Robinson, Duran all come to mind. Hall of Fame though, Pac is already in.
I think you may be missing some of a larger picture as far as now. He was a good champion before he ever fought Barrera and I will admit I had only heard about PAC until the Lucero fight and I saw him for the first time. Granted I do not think he will ever be more than a SRL or an ALI or Robinson but he could be a special fighter depending on how his carrer unfolds and could have the potential to be mentioned with them. Don't misinterpret I was not saying that PAC is going to be the best fighter P4P ever, but that hay by the time he is done can he do enought to be in say the top 20 who knows but he could and its going to be great to see as he is the most exciting fighter today in IMO.

ODLH vs Bhop was a great physical match up as hop is a much bigger guy, same thing as Bhop trinidad. Mayorga is not even close to the caliber of the other names mentioned. Pac and Barrera were similar in size not bulked up like oscar or tito agienst a natuarly bigger guy. Not only that bhop was the faviorite in those fights where Pac was not I could be wrong though. Personally I never gave DLH a snowballs chance agienst bhop.

Perhaps he's trying to mix in a new role in his style that could preserve him later on down the stretch in his career, Barrera style. His all out offensive attack style has gotten him where he is now though I think him and Freddy are trying to get Manny to slow down more and counter explode or just calm down abit. He looked real good against Larios doing it though I don't know how much that really says. I also think he's going to be known as an all time great for taking on anyone anytime. Let's not forget, he was preparing for the rematch against Marquez until it went up into smoke. Marquez meanwhile had his thumb up his ass wondering how much money could he get out of the fight before he's KOed in the rematch. Manny doesn't dodge.
Someone also said about taking on the younger fighters. This is true though Manny actually mentioned something about this that had to do with the money. He respects all the new fighters though he worked hard to get where he was and he had to make the most money out of it taking the big fights against real named opposition. He hoped people would understand that. I'm sure though down the line the young guys will become big names and then he'll end up facing them too for big $$$.

        Amen. Amen.
