I said all week in the lead up to the fight that Wilder has had two meaningful fights, Ortiz and Stiverne I, so his KO% in his meanintful fights was 50%. now he has only stopped 1 of 3 in his 3 biggest tests.
He has real power, no doubting that. My point is that history tells us that you just don't stop top level guys that easy, even if you can drop them. Look at GGG and Kovalev, they couldn't continue the KO's at the top level. It's not because these fighters are overhyped, it's just been that way throughout boxing history. Foreman couldn't do it with Ali, Shavers meant to be the hardest hitting heavyweight ever couldn't stop some top guys etc etc.
I've been saying it all along. People need to not get caught up by the highlight reels and understand the game more. Can Wilder knock out everybody? yeah of course he can, but the likelihood is that he won't always do it at this level. It's been that way forever
