Wilder will probably chase the Joshua fight and try to make money while the sun shines.
Andre Ward says no rematch for Fury vs Wilder

I am simply pointing out that Ward's take is flawed when you consider that this is about money too.
If AJ vs Wilder or AJ vs Fury doesn't happen in April, it will be because once again Eddie Hearn found a way to weasel out of it, most likely by lowball which has been his usual tactic.
Well, why take 15M plus 40% of an AJ fight when you can get 50/50 of a fight as big or bigger?
Ward is ignoring that, thinking Wilder is concerned with protecting himself or cherry picking.
Yet, Wilder is the guy that faced 2 of the most dangerous heavyweights THIS YEAR...the man aint afraid to let the 0 go.Comment

You are quoting SOG, so aren't you agreeing with him?

and even in ward's quote, he never mention anything about a rematch not being big. he says wilder will most likely avoid the rematch.Comment

Never thought id say it but i agree with ward. I dont think either guy wants a rematch, fury should have won but almost got ko'd whilst wilder escaped with his undefeated record in tact and can also say that ultimately he dropped fury twice. Both can take the draw and move onComment

Besides AJ, Fury is his best payday and I don't see Wilder ever turning that down.Comment

The rematch is so intriguing just like the first one, I really hope AJ finds his marbles and get in on the heavyweight renaissance!Comment

'Dominic Breazeale please step this way. We're going to need you to walk straight into Mr Wilder's punches if you'd be so kind. Here's your script for the build-up.'Comment

Wilder's camp was not expecting Fury to be anywhere near Saturday night's level otherwise they'd never have given him the fight in the first place so yeah...I don't expect them to try it again knowing Fury would only be sharper and stronger in a rematch.Comment

Don’t think a rematch will ever happen. Wilder probably won’t want to go through that again. Will take the draw and move on & Fury doesn’t really have to !! Even a draw was a win for him last night the way he performed. Fury v Joshua at Wembley in the summer !! https://t.co/9j4YyiKDgd
