Fury-Wilder delivered, whilst AJ remains in hiding

The decision was BS, Fury got robbed, yet he PROVED he is STILL the best HW in the world! And his powers of recovery are inhuman.
but putting all that to one side...

The fight was GREAT! It was a massive win for boxing. For the first time in over a decade big time HW boxing is BACK in the US. The whole event just felt big, I was at both this fight and Canelo-GGG 2 and honestly, inside the arena the excitement for this fight felt bigger. The atmosphere in that 12th round was unbelievable!
And it will only get bigger, the rematch sells itself and the fans will get another huge fight between Wilder and Fury, as it has now become the most relevant fight in the division.

AJ on the other hand, is now on the outside looking in, whilst he makes meaningless defenses against Whyte, Pulev etc, how will he be able to justify these humdrum matchups? When Fury and Wilder are having a MASSIVE rematch, and doing what AJ isn’t fighting the BEST possible opposition, each other!

The landscape of the HW division has been altered and has changed for the better, 2 of the 3 best HW’s are stepping up to the plate, let’s hope the third guy joins the party...

I mean you can try and force this false narrative as much as you want but the fact remains aj is still the man in the heavyweight division. Holds the most titles and makes the most money and at the end of the day that’s what boxing is about. Cheques and championships.

I mean we can forget that aj fought the best available heavyweight in his 18th pro fight if we want but objective people know the truth.

I am sorry my friend but this time I see things differently than you do. I thought the fight was OK but not great. Fury only threw 327 punches all fight which is a low number even for heavyweights. The main excitement came from Wilder's two knockdowns of Fury. Fury deserved the win but I wouldn't call it a robbery. Wilder gets two 2 point rounds and I think he won a few other rounds as well. AJ isn't on the outside looking in. He is the number 1 heavyweight in the world. AJ has fought and defeated more top 10 contenders and champions than Fury and Wilder have combined. AJ will make more money in his next fight than either Wilder or Fury made fighting each other no matter who he fights. As far as stepping up goes AJ offered Wilder more money to fight him in England than Wilder made fighting Fury. If AJ was afraid to fight Wilder why would he make Wilder any offer to fight at all? I may be wrong but I think most fans would rather see AJ fight Wilder or Fury than see a Wilder vs Fury rematch. I agree that this fight made the heavyweights more interesting. I don't think AJ fears either Fury or Wilder and I think he would beat either of them.

wilder accepted AJs offer to fight in the UK for 15 mil...under the condition that they fight was NEXT and this year....but AJ couldnt have that.....thats why it was turned down

wilder would have been dumb to take that deal when everything could change if he fought fury....if wilder won his position at the table would have been stronger than the 15 mil plain and simple

what you think doesnt matter....the proof is in the pudding....AJ turned down his 50 mil he wanted...then wilder took his offer if the fight was NEXT and this year...AJ still couldnt pull the trigger....wilder even offered to fight dillian whyte earlier in the year if hearn promised AJ next....and they wouldnt do that either

no after seeing fury box wilders ears off...and seeing wilder still drop him 2x hes probably even wanting less to do with either of them......but you can only hide out for so long

          Joshua’s 18th fight was against Eric Molina🤣🤣🤣

The only one spinning a false narrative is YOU. AJ has never been “the man” because he never beat “the man” Fury did.
AJ went life and death with a 41 yr old 18 month inactive Klitschko who Fury schooled 18 months earlier in Düsseldorf. Yet beating Klitschko makes AJ “the man”. Please...
The belts mean nothing... that’s all you clowns can hide behind. Pathetic.

I think they'll all fight each other and make a ton of money. Throw in Usyk and we've actually got an interesting division for the first time in nearly 20 years. Big personalities and fan bases too.

I think Joshua will fight one of the two from saturday's fight next year.

Economically Joshua-Wilder would make sense next because Wilder can't beat Fury and still has a belt (via gift draw) and an "0" whereas Fury is obviously going to be there for Joshua afterwards and then a re-match with Wilder is a natural at some point. Usyk will probably be pushed into a shot sometime in 2020 perhaps towards the second half of the year. Fury deserves Wilder next if he wants to give him a chance because he dominated the fight and is the champion so I hope he gets it because right is right.

I think Fury deserves the right to be called the true champion because he has the two best wins in the division and has never been close to defeat despite taking on the toughest challenges in the division. Joshua has three belts but defeated a lesser version of Wladimir.

I’ve only got back to the UK today so haven’t watched the fight back, so it’s possible I found it increasingly exciting as I was there in person, however, I still feel it was an extremely captivating fight. I had pretty good seats and there is no way I could give Wilder more than 4/5 rounds, I could just about see the draw but 115-111 Wilder was absurd.

Completely disagree on AJ being the #1 HW, Fury’s wins/performances against Klitschko and Wilder far supersede anything on AJ’s resume.

I don’t believe AJ fears Wilder/Fury either. He’s a fighter and fighters don’t fear anyone. However it’s glaringly was obvious AJ’s team fear making these fights and are constantly moving the goalposts as means to avoid them.

You came out here for this fight? You should have hit me up. None of my buddies wanted to go so I watched on PPV but I'd have gone.

What part of town did you stay?

I scored it 10-2 in rounds. I can see a case for a 3rd round due to a lack of activity on Fury's part but 4 seems a bit kind. Everyone knew Fury won by some distance.

I should of man, I went with my girlfriend though so you’d have had to third wheel😂

We stayed in downtown LA, at a place called Hotel Figueroa, it was close to the arena as well so was ideal. The fight was exactly a week before my birthday, so we kinda turned it into an early birthday present. Got to go to a Lakers game as well which was quality.

I had it 114-112 Fury on the night but most of my friends who watched it on TV had it a lot wider also. So I’ve got to watch it back.
                    Fury definitely won, regardless.
