Boxing is a dangerous sport. Glad to hear he is in stable condition.

These people make me sick. Yeah Adonis did things in the past and should have been in prison longer but I would never celebrate a man dying in the ring.

Thank God for helping Stevenson to recoverm

Adonis should have taken a knee.
So few do. I wonder why? IF you feel dazed do it right away.

[QUOTE=johnbook;19321295]From everything posted and what's not been posted, the following may be what's probably been happening with Adonis.

Since there hasn't been any mention of surgery, likely he did not have surgery. [Unless they refuse to release this which is not usually the case.] His coma, I believe was medically induced. This usually means that he was having trouble breathing and they tubed him. And that went on long enough [the need for artificial respiration] that they induced the coma. It's a horrible feeling with that tube down your throat--gotta be sedated or have the coma induced.

Word just came out that a procedure known as trepanning was performed. It's basically a hole drilled drilled in your skull to relieve pressure and he has not regained consciousness.

i posted about that in this or another thread about the first thing usually done to relieve pressure. But since that's surgery and his team hasn't mentioned surgery I then presumed he didn't have that.

              Do you have a link?

With the current version of Kovalev, I'd favor Stevenson to win.

I know it's in french and you probably can't read it but trust me it's heart wrenching, things are not looking good.
