i am glad he is getting better, no reason for NAIL to have death on his boxing record. Its allot to deal with. So i hope he gets better.
Amen to this. I do not care what anyone thinks of Stevenson, he needs to recover and be healthy. Gvozdyk does not need to live with the thought he caused someone their health or life. Boxing has seen enough tragedy.

Of course he's not fighting again, what is with you people ? The guy is in a coma, chance are he will be like Gerald Mcclellan when they wake him up. He might not even be able to count ever again.

State of California sanctioned Chuck Liddell ..whom looked like he was still in a coma whilst in the ring.

Only in America..he may be back!

Sorry i didn't mean it like that. It's just that you make it sound like he as a choice.

You call five years in prison "paying his debt" for what he did? He should have got at least double that AND he beat a man into a brain damaged state while he was in there. So five years in prison to then come out and make millions as a sports star? Yeah, really paid his debt. I wonder what those girls whose lives he completely ruined are up to nowadays, if they're even still alive. If it was your daughter or sister involved, I'm sure you'd be singing a different tune.

Stevenson is absolute scum. Human filth. Read this article in full and try to tell me otherwise: https://www.reddit.com/r/Boxing/comm...sons_criminal/

"One day, Isabelle confides in Roxanne that she wants to kill Adonis. He’s been beating her more often as of recent. One day, he brandishes his knife and asks her to choose: either she gets it up at the ass or he sodomizes her."

Five years in prison is nothing for what he did. He should have been breaking rocks in a Siberian Gulag.

Still, with that being said I don't wish death on the man. His children need a father and Gvozdyk doesn't need a death on his conscience to taint the greatest night of his career.

This was a good night for the judgement calls of refs. This ref could tell Stevenson was quite hurt and didn't even consider counting. The ref in the main event let Fury get up and finish the fight which was also a tremendous call.

The best Stevenson and his loved ones can hope for is for him to wake up with all of his faculties intact, or at least as many as possible. The man's the wrong side of 40, and has this injury to come back from; even if he wanted to fight again no commission will grant him a license.
Forget the negative aspects of his past, and let him retire on his glories. He was the oldest, and longest reigning current World champ before this fight and held the lineal status on top. That is something for him to be proud of, and more than 99% of pro boxers will ever achieve.
