Hurd been ducking Charlo since last year.

They actually gave Hurd the option to fight Charlo or Lara and HE chose Lara.

How did you think Hurd looked in his first fight back from surgery?
Just before he scored the K/O he was taking abit of damage.
Wouldn't like seeing Charlo being able to hit him that easy.

Hurd has always been easy to hit and I think Jermell will hit him hard and often. Luckily for Hurd he has an iron jaw and great stamina and punching power himself. I think he survives some rough early rounds and comes from behind to beat Jermell.

All the fights I've seen him in he has taken about 3-4 rounds to really kick it into gear.
I just hope his slow starts doesn't hurt him too much with his fight with Jermell.
I can see Hurd losing alot of early rounds but coming on in the second half.
If Charlo can keep it together it will be a very close fight.
A very hard fight to pick.
I want Hurd to win though cause I like his attitude.

It is what he has been saying (being interviewed on the Jaron Ennis card recently) and said on saturday in the ring after the fight. While Charlo was in the ring, Hurd said that he was the A-Side since he has 2 belts, therefore he called the shots (I'm not sure about this one) and that he'd have his homecoming fight before a unification with Charlo.
