How did you think Hurd looked in his first fight back from surgery?
Just before he scored the K/O he was taking abit of damage.
Wouldn't like seeing Charlo being able to hit him that easy.

I think he was fighting down to his opponents level. Welborn was smart to take the fight to the inside, preventing Hurd from getting the leverage on his shots.

But it was all for naught because as soon as Welborn tired Hurd lit him up.

Charlo will need to be well conditioned and prepared to box for 12 complete rounds in this fight. It will probably be a modern classic if Hurd can take some rounds.

The man has earned it.

Harrison, Trout and Lara back to back plus shoulder surgery. They should give him a durable a guy who Hurd can work with for around 9 rounds before going in.
