GGG going to be fighting Josesito Lopez or possibly Amir Khan (at 160) in June.
In all seriousness though, I feel Golovkin is like Pacquiao where he's dumb as a rock and lets those around him make decisions for him. Just look at his history. He's not a smart man.

Golovkin made a lot of money because Canelo wanted his name on his resume, but outside of that with all the hype behind him he really wasn't a huge box office hit like HBO wanted the public to think.

I would not be surprised if Loeffler or the higher powers will cash Golovkin out and use him as a stepping stone.

After the beating he got against Canelo there is no way I see him being at his best anymore.

The worst part of this is that in 2-3 years time Canelo will get very little credit for both fights.

People will say he lost just as is the case with Lara and some even argue Trout.

The 1st fight was a boxing clinic and as time goes on it becomes clearer (to me anyways) that Canelo was levels above Gennady...making Gennady miss the entire night while countering with his own shots.

The 2nd fight, while close on a round-by-round basis, was decisive. Canelo straight up took it to Gennady. Masterclass performance

I don't see Gennady ever getting "it" back to where he was pre-Canelo1
