Knockdowns not withstanding, Fury held court in the ring. Wilder is a one trick pony and without that right, he’s a B-level fighter at best. Fury will repeat that performance 10 out of 10 times.

Well, if you take any fighters best weapon away I think they’ll all become B-level.

Some fighters best weapon is their intelligence. Others speed. Others work rate. Some chin, and Wilders best weapon just so happens to be a right hand that can put any man down, and most men down for the count. Power. He does have it. And it’s what makes him an A level fighter, one of the top heavyweights in the division. Doesn’t mean he’s an elite SKILLED fighter. But he’s A. World class. Almost entirely due to that right hand.

Lennox is honest and 100% straight with the truth here.

Fury gave Wilder the gift of a boxing education.

You say “Doesn’t mean he’s an elite SKILLED fighter.” Well where else do elite fighters belong guy? If you don’t consider him elite, then where else does he belong? Look at what happened with Ortiz and Fury, he lost every round with the exception of the knockdown rounds. That’s is why I say he’s a B-level fighter in terms of skill. He lacks tremendous skill and that’s why he’s NOT the best or even near the best heavyweight. Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, even Luis Ortiz on a rematch will beat Windmill Wilder when that time comes.

Thank Reiss for giving Fury a long count!
No, winning 9/10 rounds despite two KDs give him the fight.

And Fury was up by the count of 10.

                  Next excuse.

Knockdowns are not the end all .

Anyone who knows boxing knows its a 12 round fight

Tyson fury won more rounds, landed a higher percentage
And was controlling the pace the whole fight . His defense was great ,he controlled distance and landed combinations and counters.

Watching the fight , the feeling was wilder was being beaten throughout and he needed a KNOCKOUT to win the fight. He needed to stop fury inside of the 12 rds to win because he was being outboxed clearly .

No doubt fury won and was robbed a great victory.

I missed all of the fight except for 11 and 12 (had to work late) so I’m not at all saying who won because I didn’t see it. Just responding to your thought process that because someone got dropped twice means they automatically lost, or that Tyson has no power. I saw enough of the fight last night to know that is not true.

I also didn’t notice the count being long, but I’ll have to watch the replay to see. Amazing that’s fury was able to get up from that. Everyone On the planet thought it was over the way he was laying on that canvas.

Its crazy. When I finally made it home I asked my buddy to FaceTime me so I could see the last of the fight. He was like “for what ? It’s already the 11th. It’s over and Wilders gonna lose. “

I said man it’s Deontay, you never know. All it takes is one shot!

Lo and behold I was able to see that knockdown, and more impressively see fury get up from it. Exciting stuff! Loved the little bit that I saw.
Well I don't remember Wilder being hurt at all but what I will agree with is that Tyson getting up was miraculous.

I wouldn't say fury won but the rounds that were closer were up for grabs and Wilder could have and should have won if he would've punched more. Fury did good evading shots but just couldn't hurt wilder or get proper combos in himself. But I did get what your friend meant by Wilder is losing because I felt he was giving the fight away for no reason. But let's be honest, in no way was fury hurting, overwhelming or outclassing Wilder.
