going down twice and winning 9 or 10 rounds after coming back from a 3 year layoff losing 10st in weight and making the HW champ look a novice
only tears here are of joy at such a beautiful performance of skill and heart you need to be honest with yourself and admit fury shocked youComment

The truth is, fury deserved that win. He made wilder look terrible for 95% of the fight. It should be noted though that the ref seemed particularly helpful in giving fury some extra time after both knockdowns, especially the 2nd one. I've never seen a ref take that long and follow up by telling him, "now walk over there and come back to me" and then giving him a few more seconds.Comment

These judges don't even make an effort to hide it now, he gave Wilder all the first 4 rounds when basically everyone else had Fury winning at least 4 out of the first 5 with ease and one was close. How anyone can see a fight so differently to everyone else is beyond me, let alone someone who works as a professional and experienced judge.
There is no reasonable explanation.Comment

Did Fury go down twice?

You can't just feint your way to victory Lennox. Someone who claims to be a commentator should attempt to stifle his bias for his countrymen. Fury has no hands and can't even hurt his opponents. On the other hand wilder nearly murdered him in there. Go back to britian with your pity party.
Fights are scored round by round. Fury had wilder hurt pretty badly in the final round w a combo he landed after rising from that viscous knockdown. He actually made Wilder hold on at a point in the fight where Wilder really should have had the pedal to the metal trying to get the win.
I missed all of the fight except for 11 and 12 (had to work late) so I’m not at all saying who won because I didn’t see it. Just responding to your thought process that because someone got dropped twice means they automatically lost, or that Tyson has no power. I saw enough of the fight last night to know that is not true.
I also didn’t notice the count being long, but I’ll have to watch the replay to see. Amazing that’s fury was able to get up from that. Everyone On the planet thought it was over the way he was laying on that canvas.
Its crazy. When I finally made it home I asked my buddy to FaceTime me so I could see the last of the fight. He was like “for what ? It’s already the 11th. It’s over and Wilders gonna lose. “
I said man it’s Deontay, you never know. All it takes is one shot!
Lo and behold I was able to see that knockdown, and more impressively see fury get up from it. Exciting stuff! Loved the little bit that I saw.Comment
