I thought Fury boxed well for the most part.

But, you get put on your arse twice and almost knocked cold?

      Yeah, that's a schooling alright...

So what if he got dropped? Fury dominated both of the rounds he got dropped in lol.

You're just trying to make excuses, you know who won that fight.

I'm not sure Fury sure can ever get a fair decision over Wilder. They probably would have called it a draw even if Fury hadn't got knocked down in the 12th. Mayweather had Fury ahead 5-0 after 5... how in the world do you come up with a 115-111 & 113-113 even with 2 knock-downs after that? They were looking at a huge 2 fight deal...and no doubt they will get it. Unfortunately for Fury he will be at a disadvantage...not in the ring but with the scoring.

But regardless...that was one hell of a night of boxing. I was sure he was KO'd in the 12th and couldn't believe he beat the count and went on to win the rest of the round...Fury is a tough MF. Wilder thought it was over too...imagine what was going through his head when he came back and ****** him like that?

          What a night...what a night!

No, I don't know who won that fight and from what I saw I am fine with the draw.

Had the judges given it to Fury I would have been fine with that also.

I can even see a close win by Wilder.

I completely disagree with 115-111 Wilder tho and I am not afraid to say it.

            It was close.

I was rooting for wilder but fury won that fight. It's clear there is a huge skill mismatch but wilder has a huge power mismatch. in a rematch fury has to keep dancing in the fire hoping he makes it 12 and doesn't get dropped and stopped before them. But if wilder can't ko him he's losing because fury wins too many rounds by having Superior boxing movement and skills.

I might pick wilder to win the rematch just because who knows what shape fury will be in physically or mentally from fight to fight. And another ref might of waved off the fight and not even counted.

Can fury be better then what he showed and can he be trusted fight to fight to show up 100% with all his outside the ring issues? Where as wilder has more room to improve and he doesn't need to be perfect through 12 rounds he just needs to land 1 perfect punch. 1 of these Knockdowns fury might not be able to get up in time.

                  Fury easily wins the rematch.

Mentally, Wilder was knocked down many pegs. Meanwhile, Fury’s confidence is through the roof.

Wilder’s fight against Ortiz showed that his boxing skills are lacking. Wilder’s devastating power has been so effective because he’s been using his height and reach advantage to fight on the outside against shorter guys. But against a guy who’s taller & rangier AND who has a good chin AND who’s even better at fighting on the outside ...Wilder looked one note.

I’m convinced that Wilder has hit a ceiling in terms of physical conditioning and boxing IQ. Fury can get in much better condition, and his boxing IQ is high enough that he’ll make adjustments to win the rematch easier.

Actually that is as bad an exaggeration as those who are saying all Fury did was run and mug for the cameras.

It was a close fight and I am glad both men were able to be part of something that may wind up as a classic.

And it was definitely a plus for both careers.

I am happy they both came thru it better off.
